The Gaggenau metal grease filter 435204 / 00435204 (350×165 mm) ensures powerful and hygienic air purification in your cooker hood. The robust aluminium grease filter reliably traps grease, vapours and cooking residues, thereby protecting the motor and the interior of your hood from contamination. Thanks to its precise fit, the filter is easy to install, remove and clean. Ideal as a long-lasting replacement for original Gaggenau grease filters – for permanently clean kitchen air, strong filtration performance and optimum appliance protection.
Cleaning metal grease filters – keeping your extractor hood working efficiently
Cooking quickly produces grease, oil and unpleasant odours. To ensure these are reliably captured, the grease filter in your cooker hood should be maintained regularly. Monthly cleaning is best – ideally using our Power Clean grease remover, which thoroughly removes stubborn grease residues and odours.
Step-by-step cleaning guide
Remove the filter: Remove the metal grease filter from the cooker hood and wipe away any coarse deposits with a cloth.
Apply the cleaner : Spray Power Clean evenly, paying particular attention to heavily soiled areas.
Leave to soak in : Wait a few minutes to allow the loosened grease to come away.
Rinse : Carefully remove all residue with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
Rinse : Rinse the filter thoroughly with clean water.
Drying : Allow to dry completely before reinserting the filter.
Alternatively, the metal filter can be cleaned in the dishwasher at a maximum of 50°C without any other crockery, using a dishwasher tablet.
Note: If the metal filter is wrapped in a blue protective film, please remove this before first use!!
