Ideal as a high-quality replacement for original filters – for consistently strong filtration performance, hygienic kitchen air and efficient operation of your cooker hood.
Cleaning metal grease filters – keeping your cooker hood working efficiently
Cooking quickly produces grease, oil and unpleasant odours. To ensure these are reliably captured, the grease filter in your cooker hood should be maintained regularly. Monthly cleaning is best – ideally using our Power Clean grease remover, which thoroughly removes stubborn grease residues and odours.
Step-by-step cleaning guide
Remove the filter: Remove the metal grease filter from the cooker hood and wipe away any coarse deposits with a cloth.
Apply the cleaner : Spray Power Clean evenly, paying particular attention to heavily soiled areas.
Leave to soak in : Wait a few minutes to allow the loosened grease to come away.
Rinse : Carefully remove all residue with a damp cloth or a soft brush.
Rinse : Rinse the filter thoroughly with clean water.
Drying : Allow to dry completely before reinserting the filter.
Alternatively, the metal filter can be cleaned in the dishwasher at a maximum of 50°C without any other crockery, using a dishwasher tablet.
